MKJB 40th Anniversary Celebration & Ceremony for the Foundation of the College New Building

The college first began operations with the name Goverment Technical School, running the City and Guilds Certificate (CGC) courses in Basic Engineering. The school was renamed to Jefri Bolkiah of Engineering School in 1984 and it was in 1987 when the school became college statue and renamed as Jefri Bolkiah College of Engineering.

On this day (04/06/2011) the college celebrated its 40th anniversary. Present as guest of honor was Ministry of Education Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Abu Bakar Hj Apong.




































The three-in-One of the event is the presenting of ISO9001:2008 certifiaation in quality management system to signify the college's achievement in realising the MKJB mission and vission to boost the quality and standards of technical learining.





The other even was the foundation laying ceremony to improve infrastructure and facilities available at the college. The new building expected to be completed by February 2012. This will accommodate the Marine and Electrical Departments. This project is under the National Development Plan 2007-2012 by Estate Management and Planning Department, Ministry of Education through its main contractor service LSL Company Sdn. Bhd. This construction is estimated to cost more than $8 million and it will take about 15 monts to complete.
